Few kilometers from Anfo, it is possible to enter an important floristic and faunistic area: Baremone, which is the largest oasis in the province of Brescia.
In this colourful area, any form of hunting is forbidden, therefore you will be able to admire different species of birds, such as Pecchiaiolo Hawk, Golden Eagle, White Partridge, the Capercaillie, the Royal Owl…
If you go walking in the early morning, if you are lucky, you can admire a deer or a chamois.
Baremone is not only for nature lovers but also for who like history, because, from the mountain refuge “Rosa di Baremone” you can easily reach “Cima Ora”, a majestic fortress of World War 1.
Another nice location is “Cima Cadoline” with its bivouac, from where you will enjoy a picturesque view.
Between October and November, Baremone Oasis offers an incredible and colourful autumnal event: the Foliage. The leaves are dyed with bright colours as red, orange, yellow, brown and purple.
